We are going to an adult Halloween party a week before Halloween and we're needing some ideas. We live in Southern Illinois so it will be a little chilly that night. I wear a women's Medium and he wears a men's Large. Thanks in advance for any ideas!!

My four friends and I (some haven't confirmed yet but I'm assuming) are going together on Halloween, and we need good group ideas. We already have the following-

Superheros
Pirates
M&M's
Witches
Wizard of Oz characters
Vampires
Devils
Prom Queens
Hippies
Cops
Snacks (hot dogs, ice cream, etc.)

These were kinda boring, normal, and regular (we want something different in a good way), so I decided to ask you people. If you had one of these ideas or you like any of these ideas, tell me anything, but I'm really looking for new ideas. We're eleven- nothing too showy or any "sexy" costumes. Thanks in advance!!!!! :) :) :) :) :)
The ideas so far are awesome!!! Can't wait to see what else you come up with!!!
I liked the Disney characters turned evil one. Same with the Go-Go dancers.
Okay, just to be clear, there's four of us.

They're about 4' high, peep-toed, with little bows near the toe-area. I was thinking Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz or Betty Boop... any other ideas? I'm a freshman in college and didn't want to go too slutty the first year, but I think Dorothy's been overdone... anything more original?
I have long, black curly hair, so I'd probably have to do it up for Betty, if I did her...

Thanks in advance!

Wiazard of Oz Party Ideas?

My daughter whose turning 5 wants a Wizard of Oz PArty. I like to do over the top parties that they'll never forget. Last year I turned our home into Narnia. This year i'd like to do the same with OZ. Any ideas of how to make decorations, games, costumes, party ideas etc. Any ideas helpful. Thanks in advance.also .HOw could i make Giant Mushrooms?
Of course i meant Wizard of Oz not Wiazard.......

I made a vest for my husband's wizard costume for the final book release party. I don't want to use a standard button or zipper closure. I'm looking for something unusual and/or clever to help add to the quirky wizarding look we're going for. Maybe something like a frog closure but not a standard frog.

Thanks in advance!
Not an invisible closure! Something visible and interesting looking. We're talking wizard clothes here. We want to jazz it up.
This is for a Harry Potter themed wizard so it's relatively flexible. Also, the vest has been cut and sewn for a non-overlapping closure. I was thinking I would just go something "like" frogs.
