Now they have begged me to allow them to be characters from “The Wiz”. Not the Broadway classic costumes but the actual movie characters and I have looked everywhere. The costumes that some local and online shops do have involve cheap material, little selection and look very similar to the original Wizard of Oz, which is not of any interest for my very opinionated, vibrant children. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to make these costumes without spending an arm and a leg… especially since this will be a one-time event?

I'm going to buy my costume, but mostly the others are played by men in the movie so if we buy those costumes they're either very revealing or a guy costume.

Firstly, have you have any links to costumes(for the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow) that are for teen GIRLS and aren't revealing so much!!
