I don't really need a costume and I am not going to a Halloween party, but I'm looking through the Sunday paper and there is a flyer for an ad for a party store. All of the female adult costumes are so revealing and slutty. I've actually never been to a Halloween party, but judging by these costumes, it looks like they are made for sex parties. I'm just curious, what is the deal? Why are there so many sleazy costumes?

Doesn't have to be really authentic but maybe a blue robe with stars and moons, you know, the stereotypical kind. Anyone have any ideas. Needs to be an adult size by the way.

I'm gonna be a Wizard of Oz munchkin for Halloween. I need to find a cute girl costume. (Adult sizes) All the ones I found were ugly and expensive. Any suggestions? Or a description of what they wore would be good too so I could put one together myself.

Looking for something that would make this costume a little less boring. It is for parties, so sexy is good... : D The glasses and wand come with it, so anything else would be great. Leggings? Hat? Links to actual items would be awesome.
Thank You!

I am planning to make a Harry Potter costume for a teenager and a Hedwig costume for a 1st grader for the big Harry bash on Friday. I have the robe and black clothes for underneath it for the Harry costume. What should I add to make the costume extra special? How do I get round glasses and a wand?
Also, for Hedwig, I was thinking of gluing a bunch of feathers onto a grocery or trash bag and cutting a hole in the top. Does anyone know a good feather template I can use? Or is there any more ideas to create the ideal owl look?
Also, I don't want to go out and buy glasses and a wand from a costume shop... So don't suggest that please.
I desperately want to make these costumes awesome, and I need some quick, creative thinking to do so. Thanks!

I am seeking 3 halloween costumes for my children
1. TIN MAN
2. COWARDLY LION
3. SCARECROW
I am searching everywhere on the internet for the WIZARD OF OZ costumes. The costumes are adding up to 35.00 dollars or more, including the accessories
If you are aware of any sites that offer these costumes for under 20.00 please direct me to that site.
Thanks!!!!!

How much would a dress maker charge to make the costumes for the whole cast of the Wizard of Oz. roughly 20-25 people. With Dorothy, scarecrow, tin man, lion, wizard, good witch, bad witch, and munchkins! Please help. I need a cost in rands or dollars, its for a play.
10 points to best answer!
