Im in charge of our high school's costumes and props for the spring musical, the wizard of oz. Does anyone know where I can rent or buy costumes for stage? I live in Avon Lake, Ohio and I am willing to drive an hour if need be. We are on a budget so that's one thing to be considered. High school directors, where do you get your costumes? Thanks!

Halloween Costume ideas for 5 people?

wassup. uh me and my friends need costume ideas..theyres 5 of us. we've already thought of disney princesses, wizard of oz, tellitubies (NOO WAY), and the Spice Girls..but none of them work..were 15 years old, and no we're nott too old to trick or treat!

I was thinking from the storybook (NO pink, NO princesses, NO fairies, NO gothic, NO pirates, NO superheroes!) or an insect (ladybug or bumble/honey bee). You can add your own links if you want.

-Does this costume come with the boots? I don't know...it says it comes with boot covers, but I have no idea what those are.

If you don't any of my ideas..Be glad to take in yours! :) Just remember...NO pink, NO princesses, NO fairies, NO gothic, NO superheroes! And I prefer something form the storybook or an insect (or is that a little "last year"?).
Thanks everyone and happy early Halloween! ;P

I know it's Really early to be asking, but for my family, Halloween is a big thing. We plan ahead for it sometimes before July 4th hits. And having a two year old doesn't make it any easier now. Last year I made my child's costume (Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz) and I don't plan on doing that again until she's older. So I wanted to go down and go look at costumes to get an idea of what she wants to be. That and I have my costume planned out already, as gruesome as it may sound and made my mom cringe, I'll be 27 weeks pregnant at the time so I was planning on being a pregnant zombie with the baby ripping out of my stomach. (Google "Pregnant Zombie" or anything with "Pregnant" and "Zombie" in it and you may see some pretty neat looking ideas.)

Anyway.. I remember Wal*Mart carrying some flaking skin cream stuff for Halloween, I don't remember the ingredients (like Liquid Latex which is great, but for long periods of time I do have a reaction to it) and I was hoping to find it again this year. I remember when I was a kid my mom got it one year and it was really neat, it peeled and flaked and looked like you would assume dead skin on a corpse would look.

I know, enough details already! So does anyone know when Wal*Mart & Target get their stuff? I remember it being fairly early, but I can't remember when exactly. (At least a month, right?) Please, no rude answers, and thank you in advance!

Ideas please!

I am twenty-two years old, and have never been to a Halloween party. WHAT? Well, I have... but as a child, never adult!

I am thrilled to be going to one this year. I need good ideas!

My sister is going to be a naughty roller girl and my boyfriend is going in drag. :squeal: I can't wait.
I was thinking naughty Amelia Earhart. You know, little airplane nip tassles. Okay, maybe not the tassles, but perhaps at least a naughty pilot.

Thanks for the ideas.

Halloween theme costume ideas?

Me and my two friends wanna be a theme for halloween. For example

Animals/Bugs
Cat
Bunny
Ladybug

or
Wizard of OZ
Dorothy
Toto
Lion

something like that =]

does anyone have any halloween costume theme ideas?

What should I be for halloween?

I am sixteen and I want to be something pretty, like in a dress or something. Nothing scary, or from a costume store. I want it to be homemade, like dorthy from the wizard of oz.

We are having an adults only Halloween Party. Costumes are required and we plan to serve some food and lots of drinks. But what should we actually do besides drink? lol. I dont like games with a lot of rules or that take a long time and there will be alot of (mostly professional type) people at least 20-30? Is it better to just let them mingle and not plan anything? We have also invited people from all parts of our lives who don't know each other so it wont be the same old conversation.
